Michael hails from Donegal and has been in the Infrastructure business for over 35 years, working in the UK, France, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand and now Ireland.
He has held leadership roles as both a public sector client and as a private sector contractor on multi-billion euro mega projects and programmes. Additionally, his experience covers traditional exchequer, government to government and PFI funded projects.
His previous rail projects covered main-line and mass transit modes of transport and the full spectrum of driver attended to driverless technologies, those transformational rail projects include the Channel Tunnel, Docklands Light Railway, Ampang Line, Rawang-Ipoh, Kelana Jaya Line and now MetroLink.
Michael has also held business leadership roles in a number of multinational contractors. This mix of client experience and contractor experience will prove invaluable to MetroLink as it progresses through the procurement process and into delivery.
